Differentiation from PVC

1. Different chlorine content

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) chlorine content: 56%

CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) chlorine content: 67%

2. Vicat temperature (thermal deformation temperature): The higher the Vicat temperature, the better the performance.

The Vicat temperature of general CPVC and PVC:

PVC: Vicat temperature 71-75 degrees Celsius

CPVC: Vicat temperature 100-125 C

The Vicat temperature of CPVC for raw material JC-701 is between 124 and 128 degrees centigrade.

The Vicat temperature of pipe fittings is 103 ZS-601. The Vicat temperature of CPVC is 121 125.

The processing fluidity (rheological property) of pipe fittings is higher than that of pipe. The Vicat temperature of pipe fittings is lower than that of ordinary pipe by adding additives.

The maximum allowable service temperature of PVC fitting is 60 C, and the long-term service temperature is 45 C. It is suitable for conveying corrosive media whose temperature is lower than 45 C. It can also be used for conveying common pressure fluid, such as water supply and drainage pipeline, agricultural irrigation pipeline, environmental engineering pipeline, air conditioning pipeline, etc.

The maximum allowable service temperature of CPVC fitting is 110 C, and the long-term service temperature is 95 C. It is suitable for conveying hot water and corrosive media within the allowable pressure range.
